Small Town Living

We made a little side trip this weekend to get a solar panel installed on our trailer. We're pretty excited to be able to camp anywhere we want and not have to worry about electricity. Previously, we never depended on electricity while camping but full-time camping makes electricity a little more important!
So this weekend we are a couple hours north of the bison ranch at an RV park outside a small town. This morning we took in the Farmer's Market and the car show. There are lawn mower races later today that John wants to go to, but we'll see. I'm feeling a little reminiscent of the time we spent living in a small town in Montana...I didn't really enjoy living there full time but it's nice every once in a while.

John & the older boys took a paddle boat out on the lake and went fishing this afternoon while Archer napped. Bryton caught 2 fish, and they caught 2 turtles to bring back to show Archer. We ended up skipping the lawn mower races, and finished up the day with s'mores, pie iron pb&j's, and stuffed bananas. I'm seriously going to put on a few pounds this summer!
